This is the bookend to the previous release "Because, Who Really Wants A Time Machine" Both collections were composed during a period of serious personal emotional struggle. The compositions tell a story in metaphor of a person going through an extended period of loss and a subsequent period of darkness. Rumination and Overthinking, Over Feeling and Reacting. This collection "Babylon is Beautiful", is part of an epiphany, and an ego death that seems to reoccur in different phases of my life. Missing the forest for the trees, Can't see through an emotion clouded mind. Looking Down and missing the signs. Getting in my own way.
The two works together make up the "full circle" from Light to Darkness to Light.
